blissed asked: Yeah, but why do I have the feeling that they'll not charge him with that, or that it won't stick? So many past cases where that charge has been applicable went to court without it. This, unless he has a proven history of homophobia in the past, seems like it'd be a stretch to attach that to. I hope they do it though.
Same here I really hope they find a way for the hate crime charge to stick. In this age of the internet and instant gratification people often don’t stop and think about what they are doing & saying or how if will effect their selves and their target. It’s time though for there to be a real consequence for that kind of maliciousness.
